Do you require different installation if using heavy tiles or full-height tiling?

The same recommendation applies for heavy tiles and full-height tiling which is to use one of CS Cavity Slider's Wet Area Cavity Slider which includes a ply panel and can be tiled directly onto.

How to ensure waterproofing of a cavity slider?

Firstly, select which CS Wet Area Cavity Slider you require and then ensure wall linings are installed as per manufacturer guidelines (e.g. Aqualine, Villaboard).

Does the wet area cavity sliders come with non-standard width and H3.1 treated jambs?

If you are tiling the cavity pocket non-standard width jambs can be specified. If installing the CS H3.1 Wet Area Cavity Slider, H3.1 treated jambs are supplied as standard. H3.1 jambs can be requested as an addition to any CS Cavity Slider.

What type of ply panel is used?

All CS Wet Area Cavity Slider solutions are supplied with a structural F11 grade ply panel that meets AS 1720.1-2010 without treatment.

Is the ply panel supplied with the CS Wet Area Cavity Sliders H3.1 treated?

No. The structural ply is adequate to meet AS 1720.1-2010 without treatment.

When is treated timber for a wet area cavity slider needed?

It’s recommended to specify H3.1 treated timber for the jambs, nogs and skirting when the cavity slider is going into an H3.2 treated timber frame. The CS H3.1 Wet Area Cavity Slider will meet these requirements. Elsewhere H 3.1 treatment is an optional extra.

How do I prevent door warping in damp environments?

All CS cavity doors come with steel reinforcement to resist warping. Additionally, you can request from CS Cavity Sliders HMR core doors for even greater moisture resistance.

Can you run underfloor heating into the cavity pocket?

Install flooring first, then sit the cavity pocket on the finished floor.

What handle options can be specified with the CS Wet Area cavity slider solutions?
